The doctors at Mission Road Animal Clinic and Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square have decided to offer alternative services at their hospitals. We will be at each location 2 days per week. I am thrilled to be able to continue to offer alternative treatment modalities within these wonderful practices. This new arrangement will require you to know when to call us, and when to call the host hospitals. The staff at the host hospitals will not be able to answer questions about alternative medicine or set up appointments with acupuncture and herbs for pets.
The doctors at both of the host hospitals are progressive and receptive to unconventional treatment modalities. They will each be offering Plan B, a reduced frequency immunization and titer testing protocol, which I have discussed with them. These two practice locations will allow convenient access to a treatment center. Both of the clinics have modern traditional veterinary facilities, up-to-date diagnostic equipment, full conventional pharmacies, and a skilled support staff to care for your Pet's are extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with both practices in this unique veterinary situation. Doctor Billie Deam at Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square recently completed training in Veterinary Chiropractic Manipulation.
If you need conventional services like a dental cleaning or surgery, you may schedule that procedure with the host hospital. There is no need to call us prior to scheduling your appointment for the conventional services. Please do mention you are a client of Acupuncture and Herbs For Pets. If needed, we will exchange medical records. It is also appropriate to call them if you have an urgent medical situation. We are not available for unexpected emergencies. Remember, alternative veterinary services are best suited for the sick pet and managing chronic disease. If you have a well pet (one that is not being treated for medical problems with alternative medications) you may have the conventional veterinarian at the host hospital closest to you schedule an annual physical examination. Be sure to tell them if you are one of my clients, and indicate if you are interested in Plan B-reduced vaccine frequency, or their conventional vaccine protocol. Thank you so much for your ongoing support. We look forward to seeing you soon at one of the host hospitals.
Sincerely,
Linda Faris, DVM
