About Us...Dr. Faris and Dr. Brozman perform examinations and acupuncture treatments at two different locations.  Tuesdays and Fridays, Dr. Faris is at Boardwalk Square Animal Hospital at I-29 and Barry Road.  Wednesday and Thursday, our doctors see patients at Mission Road Animal Hospital at 95th and Mission Road.  On Wednesday, Dr. Faris is scheduled.  On Thursdays, Dr. Brozman is scheduled.  Please email westonvet@westonvet.com or call us 816-640-3155 to schedule an appointment with Dr. Faris or Dr. Brozman.  Indicate if you prefer a specific day of the week or a specific doctor.  If you are a new client, go directly to the new client tab on this website and fill out the new client information form and the new patient questionnaire.  Submit these forms on-line, and we will call or email you with appointment options.

Acupuncture and Herbs For Pets is now an Integrative practice. When we are doing an acupuncture treatment, small dogs and cats are treated on padded exam tables or massage tables. Large dogs are usually treated on the floor where they are more comfortable. Some large dogs prefer the massage tables and jump up or allow us to lift them. 

We are now working with two excellent conventional veterinarians in two different locations; Dr. Gib Benschoter in Johnson County, and Dr. Billie Deam in Platte County.  Both of these progressive doctors has a fully staffed and well equiped clinic to address the conventional aspects of your pet's medical care.  If your pet needs to be hospitalized for more thorough monitoring and treatment, each hospital is an excellent  choice for these services.  By combining our treatment approach with a conventional veterinary practice, it is now possible for us to better meet all your pet's medical requirements.  If your pet needs surgery, hospitalization, boarding or grooming, we will refer you into the host practice for these services.  We also recommend that you investigate the various emergency services in your area and have a plan (what to do and where to go) in case of emergency.  A list of local Kansas City veterinary emergency services follows.
